We provide a 16 seat bus with Wheelchair access & passenger assistant to local nursing homes, local councils, passengers with disabilities and mobility issues, colleges and local businesses as well as the general public. Our motto "Travel, with care" is based, not only on our dedication to passenger comfort and safety but also to the full time passenger assistants we have available. Ideal for elderly and disabled passengers, our assistants are fully trained & certified to take care of your needs and have passed the MIDAS Passenger Assistant Training Scheme. Both the assistant and myself are Warrington Borough Council "Red Badged" (a safety check by the council including an enhanced CRB check).

We operate a minibus that can accommodate up to 6 wheelchairs & 2-seated passengers; 16 seated passengers; or a combination of wheelchair and seated passengers. All the seats are removable and on Unwin tracking, providing the flexibility to adapt to your seating requirements. A rear Ratcliff tail lift is available for wheelchair users and a safety step for side boarding passengers. All seats have been re-upholstered in hydrophobic vinyl, which is waterproof and contains "Actifresh" providing protection against C.difficile, MRSA and E.coli - Manufactured by Ambla.

At Pink Passenger we provide a unique wheelchair bus service, solving the transport / mobility issues faced by the wheelchair & scooter user. Our objective is quite simple: to provide the facility to go wherever you please regardless of personal mobility. Our motto "Travel, with care" is based on the passenger escorts we provide. In situations where passengers may be considered vulnerable we provide an escort in addition to the driver. We recognise that the escort, as well as the driver, share a "duty of care" to their passengers and that to enable escorts to work effectively, and exercise that "duty of care", they require quality training.
Our escorts undergo PATS (Passenger Assistant Training Scheme) training, which includes the following modules:
• The role of the escort: this is a starting point and covers the role and responsibilities of the escort, including legal, practical and safety issues.
• Assisting passengers with disabilities: which includes general disability awareness and passenger assistance techniques.
• Assisting wheelchair users who travel in their wheelchairs: This includes loading and unloading, using lifts, ramps, restraints and assisting wheelchair users to travel in their wheelchairs.
• Supervising children and young people with special needs: Which includes supervising children & young people with autism, learning difficulties, physical disabilities, sensory restrictions and emotional or behavioural difficulties.
• Working with adults who require care and supervision: This includes adult passengers with dementia, learning difficulties, sensory restrictions, physical disabilities and people in mental or emotional distress.
